The International Rail Transport Committee (CIT) is an association of about 200 railway undertakings and shipping companies which provide international passenger and/or freight transport services. New rights for passengers within the EC
The Regulation (EC) No 1371/2007 on rail passengers’ rights and obligations (PRR) entered into force on 3 December 2009. This Regulation having a significant impact on contracts of international carriage by rail, the CIT has amended its documentation to take account of the PRR. In practice, the new regulations will have an impact on all CIT members, including those based outside the European Union. More >>>
