Use of Infrastructure

This section contains the CUI Uniform Rules as well as the European General Terms and Conditions of Use of Railway Infrastructure (E-GTC-I) . The E-GTC-I were negotiated between the CIT and RailNetEurope (RNE) with the support of the CER and EIM. They were finalised in September 2014.

CUI Committee

The CUI Committee is the CIT body which handles infrastructure use questions. It approved the general terms and conditions for the use of infrastructure which were negotiated with the RNE at the end of 2010. Since then it has been working on their implementation. The CUI Committee is currently composed of the following undertakings: BDZ, ČD, CFF/SBB Cargo, CFL, CFR Calatori, DB, Green Cargo, LDZ, LG, PKP, RCA, RENFE, SNCB/NMBS, SNCF, TRAINOSE, Trenitalia, ŽSSK Cargo.
