The International Rail Transport Committee (CIT) in Bern wishes to recruit a new Secretary-General, to assume office as of 1st of January 2026. The person we seek to recruit will be a dedicated, creative individual, qualified in law and possessing extensive leadership experience in a comparable senior management position, who is at ease in a lively international environment and relishes the challenge of working on behalf of our member companies and customers to actively shape the framework conditions governing international carriage by rail, thus helping our members achieve commercial success. CIT Webinar - 11 September 2025
The second CIT webinar is scheduled for 11 September from 10:00 to 11:00 via Teams.
The presentation of the ongoing key events for 2025 and the vision for the 2026 CIT working programme will be followed by a Q&A session on CIT activities.

SNÄLLTÅGET JOINS THE CIT AJC AGREEMENT
From 1 July 2025, the Swedish railway undertaking Snälltåget is part of the CIT Agreement on Journey Continuation (AJC), supporting seamless international rail travel.
